Foods for Thoughts
Foods for Thoughts group focuses on lifestyle, diet, and interventions for mental health. It is of particular interest to those who enjoy communal encouragement, sharing ideas, and external motivation with accountability to enact lifestyle habits in processing, exercise, and diet change.
Foods for Thoughts is a four-week session commitment, generally meeting for ninety minutes every week. Each cohort meeting and each 4-week session is unique. However, sessions focus on the same principles: Group conversation, finding and preparing plant-based meals and snacks, suppojournal therapy, nutrition for mental health, movement therapies, educational round tables on neurotransmitter-regulating botanicals, vitamins, and minerals, and ultimately the support of companions on a similar journey.
